Sala

Sala, Pavilion in Thai, often related to water in different ways, as it is traditionally not only a shelter from the elements but also a resting place for travelers where drinkable water is stored and provided. This pavilion is a rainwater collection system using a lightweight structure of wood, polycarbonate and steel beams designed for Grow Pittsburgh for the existing MLK gardens in Uptown Pittsburgh.

With Nicole Lee-Park, Somin Shim, Yeong-il Jo, and Justin Cho.
