Project to design and construct a full-scale furniture spanning four feet across and holds 100 lbs of live weight. Although pieces started to show signs of cracking at 85 lbs, designed as a bookshelf, this span was successfully constructed solely with the force of friction, without any foreign fasteners or adhesives of any kind.
